Maidstone United’s first team and reserves hit the ground running this morning as they began pre-season training at The Gallagher Stadium.
In balmy conditions, Jay Saunders and Jim Bodle put their charges through their paces with a mixture of ball-work, circuit training and a grueling run through the roads of Maidstone.
All of Saunders’ new signings were present and were joined by a host of trialists hoping to earn a place in the Stones squad for the coming season.
The players will reconvene to train on both Tuesday and Thursday before they play their first pre-season fixture away to Bearsted on 7 July.
