The AGM of the Kent Hurlimann Football League was held at Lordswood Football Club on Thursday (14 June) – this is the competition that Maidstone United Reserves play in.

At the meeting the member clubs voted to merge last season’s Divisions 1 and 2 in to a single reserve team league comprising of fourteen teams for season 2012-13. This will mean a 26 game season for the teams this year. Several clubs had removed their reserve teams from the competition for this season and so the introduction of the reserve team of Rusthall into the league was a very welcome addition.

Kit manufacturers Macron were presented as the official benchwear supplier to the competition with the deal meaning that all management personnel in the technical area will be wearing Macron branded kit for the next three seasons.

The league also announced the launch of its’ official Twitter feed which can be found at @KentHurlFL
