Get down to the Gallagher Stadium

The Stones return to the Gallagher Stadium on Tuesday night for the first of three home fixtures in eight days.

Following the 2-0 home win on 1 September, Jay Saunders’ side has clocked up the miles with games against Chipstead, Needham Market, Grays Athletic, Tooting and Mitcham, Margate, Cray Wanderers and East Thurrock.

A cracking Kent derby kicks off the action on Tuesday (9 October), as the Stones take on Hythe Town. Scott Porter’s side features a few familiar faces in Nick Barnes, Lloyd Blackman, Jake Hobbs, Nick Reeves and Craig Thompson.

Saturday (13 October) is national Non League Day and the fixture list has served up a mouth-watering tie in Kent’s county town. Dulwich Hamlet, one of Maidstone’s main title rivals, will be the visitors. If you haven’t been to the Stones new home, this promises to be a great introduction to non league football.

The following Tuesday (16 October) is league cup night and it is the first occasion our former landlords – Sittingbourne FC – will line-up at the Gallagher Stadium. The Brickies are now managed by former Stones boss Jim Ward and his brother Danny.
