3G pitch

3G Super Vets Cup

The inaugural 3G Super Vets Cup will be contested at the Gallagher Stadium tomorrow (27 June).

Harlow Town, Maidstone United and Sutton United will compete at a leisurely pace in a series of 20 minute matches to see who will be crowned 3G champs.

Legends from the three clubs will be taking part. Maidstone’s team will be managed by Les Apps and the squad includes: Aaron Lacy, Paul Booth, Danny Lye, Terry Cordice and Graham Martin.

The Stones were the first to go 3G in 2012 when the Gallagher opened, Harlow followed a year later and Sutton are in the process of converting their Gander Green Lane surface to the state-of-the-art artificial football turf.

The first match is due to kick off at 14:30, with proceedings coming to a close around 17:15.
