Maidstone United Football Academy

Additional academy places available

Maidstone United are offering additional places at their football academy this September.

On the back of the education pass rate and feedback from Ofsted, academy partner MidKent College has expanded the numbers for the 2015/16 course.

A football trial will take place on Monday 29 June, between 17:00 and 19:00, at the Gallagher Stadium.

To apply for the trial you must be in Year 11 and on target to achieve at least five GCSEs at grades A* to C.

Successful trialists will be invited to join the two-year programme, which is based at the Gallagher Stadium.

The course offers a BTEC National Diploma in Sport (Level 3) and a range of vocational qualifications including Football Association coaching badges.

Following the course, students have gone on to university or employment and training within the leisure and sport industry.

The academy has two teams competing in the Football Conference Youth Alliance – the best standard of football for under 19s.
