This Saturday’s pre-season friendly against Crawley Town has been cancelled.
The League Two side reluctantly pulled out of the fixture due to player injuries and a home game against Reading 48 hours after their visit to the Gallagher.
Maidstone United chief executive Bill Williams said:“It’s disappointing that Crawley are unable to fulfil the fixture on Saturday.
“As a new club to the Gallagher Stadium, it was a match many were looking forward to and it would have been an ideal test for our squad ahead of the league season.
“We wish them well for the new season and hope they may be in a position to join us for a game next summer.”
The club are trying to arrange another friendly for Saturday. If that’s possible, an announcement will be made on the website, Facebook and Twitter.
