New signings Simon Johnson and Bobby-Joe Taylor will be coaching at Maidstone United’s summer soccer schools.
They will join Jack Parkinson and Jay Saunders at the Gallagher Stadium for the sessions in July and August.
Johnson signed for the Stones from Eastbourne Borough last month after spending six and a half years with the Sussex club. He also has international experience having made six appearances for the England Schoolboys’ team.
Taylor (pictured above) was at League Two Cambridge United last season and was in the squad for The U’s FA Cup replay against Manchester United at Old Trafford earlier this year.
July’s soccer school has sold out but there are places available next month: Wednesday 12 to Friday 14 August and Monday 24 to Wednesday 26 August.
Sessions, which cost £20 per day or you can book all three in one week for £50, are open to children aged five to 12 years.
Jack Parkinson said: “It’s good to get Bobby and Simon signed up for the soccer schools – they’re great additions to our coaching staff. We’ll be announcing other names very soon, so get booked up and come and train with the team this summer.”
The soccer school day runs from 10:00 to 15:00, with check-in and check out half an hour either side.
