Easter visit to Maidstone hospital

Easter treats for children’s ward

Maidstone United joined with Aylesford to bring some Easter treats to the children’s ward at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells hospitals.

Players and staff visited more than 50 children on the Riverbank and Hedgehog wards to wish them a Happy Easter and a speedy recover.

The Easter Eggs were donated by and were given out by first team coach Jamie Coyle and a couple of academy players. Karen Wright from Tesco donned a chicken outfit to add to the Easter fun.

Jamie said: “It was great to visit the two hospitals and bring a smile to the faces of the children who are feeling under the weather. Thanks to for donating the Easter Eggs and to Vicki at the Maidstone & Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust for allowing us to visit.”
