Maidstone United’s Player Development Centre reopens tomorrow (13 April) after the Easter holiday.
There are two sessions on Wednesdays during term time. The first is for boys and girls in school years two to four between 16:45 and 18:00, followed by children in years five to nine from 17:45 to 19:00.
After a speed, agility and quickness opener, there are various skills and drills before a mini-match to round off the session.
The centre is managed by first team boss Jay Saunders. He said: “These sessions offer an advanced coaching experience. Whether you play for a team or not, you’ll get a lot from it.
“We’ve seen a few boys and girls from the centre trialling and joining some of the club’s youth teams – so it’s proving a great preparation for that too.”
The first PDC session is free of charge and a monthly membership scheme is available to join after that.
