Dan Sweeney has agreed terms to be part of the Maidstone United squad for the 2016/17 season.
The attacking midfielder signed for the Stones last December from Dulwich Hamlet and has impressed in the 15 appearances he has made so far.
Stones boss Jay Saunders said: “I am glad to get an agreement with Sweens for next season. He’s a young lad with lots of potential and I feel he’s one of those who’ll get better and better the more he plays.
“He’s got a big future ahead of him and I am delighted that he sees the next stage of that here with us at the Gallagher.”
The 21-year-old started his playing career at AFC Wimbledon. Following his release from The Dons, he signed for Kingstonian and made 80 appearances before a brief spell at Champion Hill last autumn.
