Maidstone United’s charity golf day has raised £3,400 for ellenor – one of the club’s nominated charities.
Tudor Park Country Club hosted today’s fundraiser and 50 golfers made their way around the 18-hole championship course.
ellenor is funded by the generosity of the local community, offering the best care and support to families facing terminal illness in Kent.
It is the only charity in the county that provides hospice care for people of all ages – babies, children and adults – and their families. This includes pain and symptom relief, end of life care, respite, bereavement support and emotional and spiritual care.
Charity golf day organiser Mark Lancley said: “I would like to thank everyone who supported the event – from the golfers who took part to the companies that donated raffle prizes. It was a superb day for a superb charity.”
