Ben Greenhalgh and Jay Saunders

Greenhalgh gets back to the Gallagher

A familiar face returns to the Gallagher Stadium as Ben Greenhalgh rejoins the Stones after a season with Concord Rangers.

The 24-year-old won a Ryman Premier championship medal with Maidstone before opting to move to Concord – a club he had played for at the end of the 2012/13 season.

Stones boss Jay Saunders had kept tabs on the midfielder – whose previous clubs include Welling United, Ebbsfleet United, Inverness Caledonian Thistle and Stenhousemuir – during last season, where he made 47 appearances and scored 18 goals.

Heading the opposite way is Alex Akrofi, who will be joining the Beach Boys on loan at the start of next season.
