Ben Greenhalgh will be coaching at the Gallagher Stadium this summer.
The midfielder returned to the Stones last month after agreeing a one-year deal. Alongside his first team duties, he will be getting involved with the club’s community coaching – starting with the four soccer schools taking place in July and August.
Ben will join newcomers Kevin Lokko and Tom Murphy who were announced last week.
Stones boss Jay Saunders, who also runs the soccer schools, said: “I am not sure who will be more excited by this news – the kids or their mums! In all seriousness, it’s great to have Ben back with us, he’s an excellent coach and his sessions are always top-drawer.”
In addition to Ben, Kevin and Tom, first team player/coach Jamie Coyle – who was Supporters’ Player of the Season – has also signed up for the soccer schools, which are happening on the following days:
- Wednesday 27 to Friday 29 July
- Wednesday 10 to Friday 12 August
- Wednesday 17 to Friday 19 August
- Wednesday 31 August to Friday 2 September
The sessions, which cost £20 per day or you can book all three in one week for £50, are open to children aged five to 12 years.
