Reece Hall-Johnson

Saunders signs Hall-Johnson

Jay Saunders has signed Reece Hall-Johnson ahead of tomorrow’s visit to Chester.

He was on the books of Norwich until this summer and was part of City’s 2013 FA Youth Cup winning squad.

The 21-year-old, who can play in defence or midfield, made his senior debut for the Canaries as a second half substitute in a Capital One Cup match in August 2014.

Johnson comes in for Callum Driver who picked up an injury during Tuesday’s match against Aldershot Town.

In other team news, Jay May is set to join Ryman South side Hastings United on a one-month loan. Subject to FA and league approval, the striker could feature in the season-opener at home to South Park.
