Bring your scarves and smiles next Tuesday

The north stand opens a week today and to mark the occasion there will be a photo taken before kick off.

If you’re in the new stand at about 19:30, you will be part of the official opening that will be led by Oliver Ash, Terry Casey and Bill Williams.

Bill said: “Whether you’re planning to watch from new stand or just intrigued to see what the views are like, be there just before kick off to be part of the souvenir photo.

“Bring your scarves and smiles and let’s have a great image to celebrate the latest phase of development at the Gallagher Stadium.”

Gates open at the usual time of 18:15. Tickets will be available on the turnstiles or you can buy in advance from the website. For this game, under 11s will be admitted free of charge when accompanied by a paying adult or concession.

The game itself sees the Stones play Sutton United. Paul Doswell’s side made headlines for their FA Cup run this season, which saw them host Arsenal in the fifth round on 3G.

Next week’s fixture will also end a run of 17 days without a match due to Macclesfield and Lincoln’s FA Trophy commitments.
