Greenfields Community Primary School

Good luck Greenfields

Greenfields Community Primary School are getting kitted up ahead of a tournament this week.

Eight pupils from the school will be representing Maidstone United in a regional heat of The National League Trust’s Under 11s competition. The club’s head of community development, Mike Cogger, presented the children with replica kits, which have been kindly donated by Europa Sports & Awards.

Greenfields were the winning school at a tournament held at the Gallagher the week before last. They will compete in a knockout competition on Wednesday at Woking FC’s Laithwaite Community Stadium.

The winners of the regional heats will take part in the semi final and final at Wembley Stadium in May, as part of the Vanarama Big Day Out.

Mike said: “We wish Greenfields the very best of luck on Wednesday and are very proud to have them represent the club in this competition.

“The children will be joined by an enthusiastic support and we will be cheering them on throughout.

“They will certainly look the part and our thanks to Europa for kitting them out.”
