Academy through to play-off final

Maidstone United Ambers are through to the National League Youth Alliance play-off final.

Ambers will play Boreham Wood Whites next Wednesday in the final, which will crown a champions of champions. The Wood beat Luton Town Cedars by three goals to nil this afternoon.

For the last few weeks, the youth alliance’s ten divisional champions have been taking part in the knockout competition and the winner will be decided at Gander Green Lane – home of Sutton United.

  • The players from all four academy squads will find out who’s won the manager’s player and players’ player awards at a presentation next week. The winners will be announced on the website.
