Maidstone United are proud to announce a four-year sponsorship deal with Genco.
The construction, maintenance and refurbishment company is sponsoring the north stand, which will now be known as The Genco Stand.
Based in Maidstone, the company has more than 30 years’ experience in the construction industry and has some prestigious clients on its books, including G4S, John Lewis, Tesco and Waitrose.
As part of the sponsorship, the top of the stand is now decked out in the Genco brand. Visible from around the Gallagher Stadium, it has the added benefit of being seen from the High Level Bridge that connects Maidstone East and Maidstone Barracks stations, as well as by visitors heading to Whatman Park.
Club chief executive Bill Williams said: “We’re delighted to secure this partnership with Genco for the next four years. The Genco Stand, as we now know it, has changed the look and feel of the stadium and the atmosphere on match days has gone to new heights.
“To attract a company of Genco’s standing is excellent news for the football club and they join the likes of Britelite, Gallagher Group and Gullands as key business partners as we embark on a second season in the National League.”
The Genco Stand opened earlier this year. The 1,768 standing terrace, which houses home and away supporters, saw the Gallagher Stadium’s overall capacity rise to 4,200.
