Ladies and gentlemen, vote Worgan.
Fear not, our club captain hasn’t abandoned the goal for a crack at government but he is shortlisted for the Reusch Goalkeeper of the Year prize at the National Game Awards.
Organised by the Non League Paper, the awards celebrate the grassroots game and the winners will be announced at an annual awards lunch at Chelsea’s Stamford Bridge in a fortnight’s time.
Worgan, who joined the Stones in summer 2013, has made 214 appearances in all competitions and featured in every league game since signing. He was made club captain in November 2015.
You can vote for Worgs on the National Game Awards website or use the hashtag #NGAvotes on Twitter.
