Maidstone United Football Academy

Limited academy places available

Want to swap school for the stadium? A limited number of places are available at the Maidstone United Football Academy.

Aimed at students who are just finishing Year 11 or those in Year 12 looking for a change of course, the two-year programme, in association with MidKent College, starts at the Gallagher in September. It combines academic sports studies, alongside football matches, training and qualifications.

If you’re interested in attending a training session on the evening of Tuesday 27 June, please complete the online application form.

First team manager Jay Saunders is part of the academy’s coaching team, alongside Jamie Coyle (player manager at Welling United), Tom Parkinson (first teamer at Tonbridge Angels) and Jim Bodle (former player and reserve team boss).

As well as being successful at the training session, applicants will need to have/gain at least five GCSEs at A* to C, ideally including English and maths.
