Maidstone United are delighted to be supporting this year’s Non-League Day on Saturday 7 October.
The Stones are at home to Guiseley in the Vanarama National League on a day when the sporting spotlight shines on the grassroots game.
Non-League Day launched in 2010 and has become a popular date in the football calendar. Scheduled during an international break, it encourages fans of Premier League and Championship clubs to experience a local match from the National League downwards.
Club chief executive Bill Williams said: “It’s great to have a home fixture on Non-League Day. This volunteer-led initiative has done so much to raise the profile of the non-league game and I’d encourage anyone who’s not been to our wonderful stadium before to give it a go.
“We’re just a stone’s throw from Maidstone town centre, you’ll be assured of a warm welcome and fantastic atmosphere generated by the best fans in the business.”
