Alex Wynter has been selected for England C duty next month.
The defender took part in a three-day training camp at Lilleshall a fortnight ago and boss Paul Fairclough has selected him to be part of the 16-man squad that will travel to Slovakia in November to play in the International Challenge Trophy Final.
Stones boss Jay Saunders said: “I am delighted for Wynts. He’s taken his performances for us and earned himself a place in the England C squad. As a sportsman it’s an honour to represent your country and he thoroughly deserves this opportunity to showcase himself at international level.”
The match will be played in Ziar Nad Hronom on Wednesday 8 November.
Stones striker Joe Pigott is in the standby squad for the game.
