Maidstone United can confirm it has been successful in its appeal of Elliott Romain’s dismissal on Saturday.
The club submitted its appeal on Saturday evening and after considering the claim, the FA ruled it to be a case of wrongful dismissal.
As a result, Romain’s pending three match suspension has been removed and he is eligible to play in tomorrow night’s game against Eastleigh at the Gallagher Stadium.
We would like to thank the FA’s regulation committee for considering our appeal today and for the ruling they gave. Thanks also to club cameraman John Gooch for providing the footage that enabled our claim to be considered.
