Maidstone United extend an invitation to all supporters to join us tomorrow (31 December) when we will host a first team open training session at the Gallagher Stadium.
The gates will be open from 10am where Tristan Lewis and Simon Walton will put the squad through their paces ahead of our New Year’s Day game against Dover Athletic.
After the session supporters are encouraged to head into the Spitfire Lounge where they will be able to meet the players and staff for a chat and to get selfies and autographs.
Stones caretaker manager Tristan Lewis said:
“A massive part of mine and Simon’s role is not only to get a positive reaction on the pitch but also to rebuild the relationship between the supporters and the players, staff and the club itself.
“Of course improvements on the pitch are a key factor in this, but we also know we can do our bit off the pitch as well.
“With it being the holiday season, parents, children and any other supporters who wish to come along are welcome to join us.
“All the first team players will be preparing for the game on New Year’s Day and will be in the bar afterwards ready to discuss all things Stones with you all.”
Car parking at the Gallagher Stadium for this event will be available on a first come first serve basis. The Spitfire Lounge will also be open and serving drinks. This event is free to attend.
