Jamar Loza has joined Billericay Town for an undisclosed fee.
The move follows a loan spell at Woking, which culminated in last Sunday’s FA Cup third round tie against Premier League side Watford.
The 24-year-old joined the Stones in October 2016, with the highlight of that first season coming against his former loan club. After going 2-0 down against The Cards, a Loza hat trick inspired a truly memorable comeback that saw the Stones run out 4-2 winners.
His second season was marred by ankle surgery, which kept him out of the squad for four months. He was invited back for pre-season last summer and went on to earn a deal for this campaign but following the change in management, he was loaned to Woking in early October.
Club chief executive Bill Williams said: “We’re sorry to see Jamar go but football never ever stands still. This move is something that Jamar wanted to happen and the club wishes him well in the future.”
