Maidstone United Raiders under 16s will defend their FA People’s Cup Youth Disability title next month.
The team (pictured at last year’s final) won through at semi-final stage to represent the club at St George’s Park on the weekend of Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 April.
The FA People’s Cup is England’s largest and most inclusive small-sided competition. It is completely free to enter and welcomes male, female and disability players across 15 categories.
More than 27,000 players started out in the competition back in February.
Head of Disability Football Lorraine Humm said: “I am very proud of the lads for making the final and having the chance to defend the title they won last year.
“Our Gold team finished second in the semi final tournament and were so unlucky not to make it to St George’s Park as well.
“Here’s hoping we can get a result at the final to reward the team’s dedication and hard work this season.”
