There’s a bumper day coming up on Saturday 6 April when the Stones host Salford City.
The day coincides with the 15th anniversary since Maidstone United Raiders were formed and players from the club’s award-winning pan-disability section will be walking out with the two teams before kick off.
After the Vanarama National League game, you can watch the Grand National Steeple Chase on the big screen in the Spitfire Lounge, followed by the Emirates FA Cup semi-final between Manchester City and Brighton & Hove Albion.
On the pitch after the first team fixture, there will be a memorial match for Ben Evans, who played for Maidstone United Raiders between 2008 and 2016.
Following that, at around 20:00, to mark the Raiders 15th anniversary and continuing the Grand National theme, there will be a fundraising Race Night in the Spitfire Lounge.
Entrance to the Race Night is £2.50 per person and there will be eight races to have a flutter on.
Club chief executive Bill Williams said: “From one team and a dozen players, the Raiders have grown to more than a dozen teams and 120 players.
“We look forward to marking this anniversary and hope our supporters will get behind it by watching the memorial match and taking part in the race night.
“To everyone who’s been involved with Raiders over the past 15 years – be that in a coaching, playing or admin capacity – I thank you wholeheartedly and wish the section every success in the years ahead.”
