John Still has been presented with a special achievement award by the League Managers’ Association.
The club’s Head of Football was recognised at the association’s annual awards dinner at the Grosvenor Hotel in London.
In a career spanning more than four decades and 2,000 matches – John won promotion into the Football League on three occasions and oversaw Dagenham & Redbridge’s promotion to League One via the 2010 play-off final at Wembley.
Bill Williams said: “This is a special award for someone who has dedicated more than 40 years to his trade.
“He has been hugely successful and responsible for the changing of many players’ lives for the better.
“I’ve known John for over 30 years and this award couldn’t have gone to a more deserving person.”
