Spurs Legends head to Maidstone this weekend.
A team of former Tottenham players will be taking part in a charity match on Sunday afternoon to raise funds for Maidstone Mencap and Space2BeMe.
The Legends are aiming to complete the month of June unbeaten. They drew 2-2 at Hambleden FC in Buckinghamshire, before a comprehensive 7-2 win over charity side H.A.D. at Aveley FC last Sunday.
At both of those games and again this Sunday, there will be a tribute to Justin Edinburgh with a minute’s applause. Justin had been a regular player in the Legends team for several years, helping to raise funds for worthy causes by playing in friendly matches all over the south of England.
The match, which is being sponsored by Gullands Solicitors and Waitrose & Partners, kicks off at 2pm and tickets will be available on the turnstile from 11am. Admission is a minimum of £5 for adults and £1 for children.
There will be pre-match and half time entertainment, as well as a raffle.
It is the fourth year that staff from Waitrose & Partners in Aylesford have hosted a football fundraiser at the home of the Stones. Last summer they took on the Arsenal charity team in aid of Prostate Cancer UK and The Arsenal Foundation.
