It’s League One opposition in round two of the Emirates FA Cup.
The Stones have been drawn away to Blackpool, with the match taking place on the weekend of Saturday 30 November.
Blackpool went through with a comfortable 4-1 win over Lancashire rivals Morecambe at the weekend. Goals from Nathan Delfouneso, Armand Gnanduillet, Matty Virtue and Sullay Kaiaki ensured the Seasiders safe passage into the second round on a cold afternoon at Bloomfield Road.
Back down south, an excellent team performance, against an in-form Torquay, secured Maidstone’s place in tonight’s draw.
It was the first tie drawn this evening by Dion Dublin and Mark Bright, live from Chichester City’s Oaklands Park.
The winners will receive £54,000 from the FA prize fund and a place in the third round, when clubs from the Premier League and Championship enter the competition.
The date of the match will be confirmed later in the week, as will admission information.
