Under-23s go ten points clear

Maidstone United under-23s have opened up a ten point lead at the top of the Suburban League Premier Division.

Eitel Goueth, Mason Burstow and Perri Iandolo got the goals against Sevenoaks Town – the second time the two clubs had met in the league in the space of three weeks. Stones won 4-2 in the home fixture.

Second place Aldershot Town had a weekend off and now have a game in hand. The two sides meet at the Gallagher on Easter Saturday.

The Stones development squad are on their travels this weekend, heading to Imber Court to play last season’s Suburban Premier champions Met Police.

Before that, a Charlton Athletic youth side will be at the home of the Stones for a friendly on Tuesday night. Kick off is at 19:45 and gates open an hour before.
