In the coming days, some season ticket holders will be picking up the phone to someone from the club.
Directors Oliver Ash, Terry Casey and Bill Williams, head coach Hakan Hayrettin and club captain George Elokobi are taking part in Phone Stones and calling up contacts from the club’s address book.
Oliver said: “With the country effectively in lockdown as of last night, we wanted to get in touch with some of our season ticket holders for a quick, friendly chat, offer our best wishes and share thoughts on these worrying events and how they affect our football club.
“The new, stricter government guidelines are essential to halt the spread of Coronavirus but in this time of isolation, it’s all the more important to keep in contact with family, friends and colleagues by phone, FaceTime, Skype etc.
“We aim to call round nearly 300 fans by Sunday and if you’re feeling left out and would like one of us to phone you next week, please contact the club by email and we’ll do our best.”
If you’d like to request a call, please email the club office.
That email address is also open for any ideas you have to keep informed and entertained by your club in the weeks ahead.
You can also start a conversation with a direct message on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
@maidstoneunited really touched to get a call from Bill Williams checking up on their concessionary season ticket holders. We’re fine but there are many others who will be grateful for the kind offer of help.
