The Maidstone United Player Development Centre is open to young footballers in school years 1-7 from any club, and provides an ideal introduction to focused and structured coaching sessions at a top-class facility.
Taking place at the Gallagher Stadium, the development centre is run in in conjunction with Soccer Elite FA, one of the South East’s leading coaching companies. Soccer Elite offer the highest level of coaching and equipment, and have quickly put their stamp on the sessions with coaches including former Dover players Lee Spiller and Tony Browne, both of whom also coach at the Chelsea Academy.
The development centre is primarily designed to offer top level coaching to locally-based players from all backgrounds, offering a structured and coordinated programme based on fun, progressive development. This is consistent across all ages groups with a combination of 1v1, small groups and team-focused drills being used to help individuals show their individual talent at every opportunity.
The coaching programme explores all dimensions of a modern day footballer; from coaches who have played the game at the highest level. It will provide the ideal foundation for players to master the fundamentals of the game.
