The club was disappointed to lose the services of captain Joe Vines last week as the experienced defender informed manager Andy Ford that he wished to leave The Stones. Sadly, this has left the first team squad short of experienced centre backs and Andy Ford had to move swiftly to to secure the services of 19 year old Reis Boyle on a dual registration basis from Conference South side Bromley. Boyle was pressed into action as he made his debut against Wealdstone last Saturday.
Dane Sutton has also decided to move on after just playing 4 games for the club since coming over from Jersey in January. His place in the squad has been immediately filled by the acquisition of 26 year old Ronayne Marsh-Brown. Marsh-Brown recently left Sutton United and had previously played for Harrow Borough and Welling United. He started his career at Gillingham and has also played for Macclesfield Town and Dutch Eerste Divisie side RKC Waalwijk.
19 year old striker Jack Pallen has also signed on the dotted line. He was with Dartford and spent a period on loan at Chatham Town last season before going to Malta where he played for Luxor St Andrews. Since returning from Malta he has been training with Dover Athletic and playing for Sussex County League side Rye United.

Manager Andy Ford has again been busy in making changes to his playing squad this week with several more player movements.
Moving away from the club are Tony Boot and Ryan Cooper. Tony has joined Billericay Town mainly due to the difficulty and cost he was encountering in travelling to matches and training from his home near Romford. Meanwhile Ryan Cooper's move is for developmental reasons as Andy Ford considers that the 18 year old defender needs more senior experience, experience that he cannot get playing at Kent League Reserve level. As a result Ryan has joined Sittingbourne for the remainder of the season.
With injuries and suspensions affecting team selection this weekend, the club have signed central defender Reis Boyce on a dual registration basis from Conference South side Bromley. Reis is 19 years old and has featured in several of Bromley's league fixtures this season.
Also signing on the dotted line are two players from our reserves. Jim Humphris impressed during his Kent Senior Cup debut appearance vs Ebbsfleet United recently and has continued to do so in training since then. Nathan Faulkes, who was last season's leading goal scorer in the Ryman Youth League is also being given an opportunity to make his mark at a higher level after a recent burst of goals in the reserve team. Both youngsters will be involved in the match day squad against Wealdstone this weekend.
The final piece of squad news concerns Tom Mills. He has impressed many peole this season with his performances in the first team since he moved up through the club's youth and reserve structure and he was rewarded by the club this week with the offer of a contract. We are delighted to say that Tom has accepted our offer and he has signed up with The Stones for the remainder of this season and the whole of the next campaign too.
